Living and working in the cradle of Switzerland

Central Switzerland

Close to the city, close to nature: at Lake Lucerne you will find real quality of life for the highest demands. The main airport Zurich/Kloten is only 50 km away.

All year round, you can enjoy a wide range of leisure activities as well as unique views, a rich cultural offering, culinary delights, great shopping and, in any case, short travel times. Because in the heart of Switzerland, everything is just around the corner. Even abroad: you can be in Milan in two hours from Lucerne.

It all began in Central Switzerland in 1291. On the Rütli mountain meadow, the people of Uri, Schwyz and Unterwalden swore an oath of allegiance to the Swiss Confederation. And it was here that the legendary William Tell created exciting stories that are still told today - especially the one about the apple shot.

Immerse yourself in a world where life and work are a little easier. A world where you and your loved ones don’t have to miss out on anything at all.

One of the most beautiful cities in the world

Lucerne on Lake Lucerne

The combination of blue water and white peaks will inspire you too. Lucerne is “Switzerland at its best”. The gateway to Central Switzerland offers you a wealth of leisure and shopping opportunities, plenty of sights and a top sports offering, in summer and winter.

The medieval Chapel Bridge dominates the Lucerne cityscape. The frescoed houses, picturesque squares and churches, the Lion Monument and the Chateau Gütsch Hotel, high above the car-free Old Town, will also delight you. The Lucerne Carnival and the relaxing steamboat trips on the winding lake are also a must. Lucerne combines tradition and innovation, for example thanks to the world-famous KKL Luzern with its concerts and congresses. Speaking of modern buildings: The favorable tax laws in the canton of Lucerne have led to a number of companies setting up here.

So much pleasure makes you hungry. And luckily there are countless tempting restaurants with stars and Gault Millau points in the region. As you can see, this is literally Switzerland at its best.

Pleasure close at hand

And if you fancy a fine cigar at the end of the day: Our first-class ORSON Wine & Cigar Lounge is not far away either.

Swiss traditions and natural treasures

The Entlebuch

The Entlebuch is synonymous with fantastic moorland landscapes, idyllic alpine meadows, rugged karren fields and wild mountain rivers. In Switzerland's first biosphere reserve, you will discover first-class natural beauty, not least the Rothorn, the Schrattenfluh and the Napf region. A mystical world full of inspiration and relaxation spreads out over 400 square kilometers. You can also enjoy a wide range of leisure activities: gold panning, a visit to the cheese dairy, an energy and fairy-tale trail, Kneipp facilities, a children's moor playground, satellite-guided hiking or guided excursions - the choice is enormous.
